Spirit Window

There are none so blind than those who refuse to see..

Great day!

I hope this post finds you well.

If not, stop what you are doing and smile! You may feel strange but try it!

I find myself in ‘life review’ constantly.
Always looking back to move forward it seems.
Taking the time to sit; honestly recalling events from the past can be a healthy way to look objectively at yourself in situations.
It can take time to get to a place where you can see or want to see a situation from all sides, but it is there and necessary for positive growth.

Self-reflection has become such a major part of my life. Learning myself in such intricate ways has proven to be such a rewarding experience.
In addition to the newfound connections to myself, I have discovered just how connected I am and we all are to everything around us. How simple it is to tap into these connections and the gifts they bring.

Being able to see myself, outside of myself is so many things! Eye-opening, difficult, annoying, and amazing. It’s like watching a movie and feeling right-there with a character, relating to them. Or watching your favourite character doing something they will regret and wishing you could reach through the screen and stop them, or at least get them to stop and think about what they’re about to do!

Looking at life from behind another’s eyes or from within another’s shoes is an incredible experience as well. To understand exactly where someone is coming from, how situations make them feel and the reasonings behind their actions or responses is such a distinctly illuminating experience.
It takes complete honesty of oneself; to accept blame at any point when needed. It takes complete honesty in self to see areas where improvement is needed and strive to do just that.
It also takes the ability to forgive ourselves.

The best we can All do is try to be a better person than we were the day before.

In this poem, we see just how in learning ourselves; we can learn others. How in learning others, we can learn ourselves.

~Learn to look both in the mirror and out the window.~

Spirit window -
a window to the worlds.
Similar to Santa’s looking glass,
to check on boys and girls.

Some of us can perceive.
Some have been there too.
Most could have a look
If they only knew what to do.

You see this window is for all
Who understand the time.
This window even peers
Into the depths of the darkest minds.

It’s not about control.
Pure Love — the only goal.
Spirit window even sees
into long lost worlds.

Magic’s what you’d call it
But it’s nothing of the like.
Perception yet is fleeting.
Deception has gone rife.

See evil wants control.
It is their life long goal.
Let the truth be told.
Love maintains the stronghold.

So when you’re ready to unwind.
Take a trip back in your mind
floating beyond time.
See what you will find
Maybe the Spirit Window
Will show you true sublime.
